Previously released on Future Fonts under code name TXT25, NaN Tragedy is now realeased as a finished family on NaN.xyz.

NaN Tragedy is an attempt to offer a functional text typeface with unconventional shapes—an infusion of the display way of design inside the body copy constraints.

For exemple, NaN Tragedy features an exaggerated axis that creates graphic shapes in round letters (o, C, G, b, d, etc.) and uses desequilibrated exit strokes (e, c, a, 6 etc.).

Despite these unusual features, Tragedy achieves to create a smooth texture at body size, —texts in lower case being quiet and even with a touch of spice.

Nan Tragedy also offers a Display cuts that emphasizes all this unconvientional tricks. in a more condensed width.
