Bluu Suuperstar is the last incarnation of a small project started when I learned type design. I wanted to draw a Times with an attitude: big triangular serifs and sharp design. Eventually it ended with a display font that uses straight top for usually round letters (a, c, s, etc.). It was published by the OpenSource Foundry Velvetyne as Bluu Next. It becames widely used (rock bands identity, Museums, fashion brand, whisky label, etc.)

A few years later, became a pro type designer at Black Foundry, I decided to redesign Bluu from scratch, with a true Italic and several weights. The result is now here : Bluu Suuperstar.
