Phantom

A tribute to pop culture. Picking its name from video games (Meat Boy), cartoons (Sponge Bob) and the comic books (Supersomething), SFB is a funny, playful, unusual, chubby font that tries to somehow typographically translate the Internet culture. Working on this design, I wished to make something grounded in the visual references of my everyday consumption and not in my historical typographic knowledge. It ended with this pretty bold design featuring wavy inner counters, unstable upper case and barely legible letters.
